I started working with Dragos when I was a journalist and decided to leave my job in search for a better work place. Little did I know that it was the beginning of a bigger and courageos move towards a career shift that would change my life. Dragos helped me realize that my capabilities were more complex than I thought and gave me support to start using them in order to earn money. He helped me re-think my aproach on work and encouraged me to start out a new path, as a freelancer. That was back in 2010. I never returned to a full time job ever since and I would never give up the experiences I had while exploring my potential on my own.

Dragoș is one of the pillars of growth for the incubator107 project. He is first of all one of our main trainers in the Quit your Job annual program, bringing forth his personal professional experience, tools and advice on following a specific calling and on turning that calling into a career that bring both satisfaction and wealth. In 2013 he offered to all incubator107 teams (from different cities in Romania) a sales workshop that aimed to develop the B2B sector of the project. This workshop made us more aware of the strengths and potential of the project, helped us acquire specific skills of pitching, negotiating and keeping clients by sustaining an authentic, win-win relationship with our clients. In addition to all mentioned above, Dragoș offered vocational mentoring meetings with the coordinating team of the project, which made us realize that it was time to dedicate our full energy to the project. We then raised the costs of our workshops and the coordinators became the employees of the project. This vision of our own life motivated us and brought us closer to our own calling.
incubator107 is the place where anyone can learn and teach anybody anything. Our main values are non formal education, community and passion. incubator107 encourages people to discover their passions and to follow their vocation. The project is implemented in 8 cities in Romania and aims to become international.

Life after Work
When you start a new business there is a lot of chaos. And you feel dumb. Most chances are you really are dumb. Looking back now, I realize it is vital to have a mentor, to have somebody you can bounce with your dumb ideas, somebody who can give feedback on them and tell you that also have good ideas. This person acts like a mentor, a business partner and some sort of senior family relative, like an uncle or a godfather who motivates you no matter what. For me, this person was Dragoș and I don’t see how else I could’ve become the entrepreneur I am today without him.
And none of this would exist today without Dragos’ trust and vision. He not only saw in us a potential we were not aware of, but he also acted upon that instinct. He supported us with mentoring, recommendations and counseling. He was the one to send me and my business partner, Horia, to the workshop Empretec, hence enhancing our ambition and business perspective. He was by our side when our business compass was broken. He catalyzed our competence and our engagement, leading us to a more mature perspective. We are grateful to him, not only for our systemic growth, but for our individual one as well!
